Acceptable use policy

Facet creates synthetic people — faces and characters that do not exist. These rules keep it that way and keep Facet safe for everyone. They are part of our terms of service and apply to everything you create, upload or share with Facet.

1. Minors — zero tolerance

Never create, request or upload any sexualised or sexually suggestive depiction of a minor, or of a character that appears to be under 18 — no exceptions for fiction or AI-generated content. We remove such content, close the account and report it to the authorities.

2. No sexual content

Facet is not for adult content. Do not create nudity, sexually explicit or pornographic images, or suggestive content intended for sexual gratification — also not of adults and not of synthetic characters.

3. Real people

• Do not recreate or approximate the likeness of a real, identifiable person — by sculpting, prompting or uploading photos — unless that person has given you their consent.
• No deepfakes, no impersonation of real people, no fake endorsements or statements attributed to real people.
• Only upload photos you have the right to use. Photos you upload for an analysis are used only for that analysis.

4. Honesty about synthetic people

• Do not use Facet characters to deceive people in harmful ways — for example romance scams, fake identities, identity verification (KYC) bypass, fake documents, fake reviews or fraud.
• Label AI-generated images and characters as such wherever the law or a platform’s rules require it, for example for AI influencers and advertising.

5. Other unlawful or harmful content

No content that is illegal, promotes violence or terrorism, is hateful, harasses or defames others, violates someone’s privacy, or infringes intellectual property such as trademarks or copyrighted characters.

6. Misusing the service

• Do not try to get around safety filters, credit limits or rate limits.
• No multiple accounts to collect free credits, no automated access or scraping without our permission, no reselling of access, no attacks on Facet or its providers.

7. Enforcement

Our systems and our AI providers’ safety filters may block a generation — the credits for it are returned. If content or behaviour breaks these rules, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close the account without refunding credits used for the breach, and report serious cases to the authorities.

8. Reporting

Report content or behaviour that breaks these rules to hello@fourstudio.co with the subject “Report”. For anything involving minors, write “URGENT” in the subject.
